What was the highlight of JAZ Makadi Oasis Resort

Very Good

It is a beautiful place with a lot of activities, not only for adults but also for kids. Food is amazing with tons of options for vegetarians or meat lovers. Drinks are also highly recommended. Shopping stores are better inside the hotel than outside. We heard different experiences of fraud when buying tours outside the hotel and overcharging the cards. All the hotel was super clean and the staff was very friendly.

The air-conditioning in the room was very loud. Only one of the swimming pools was heated but the hotel was quite empty, so maybe not Worthy to have both heated.

The BEST HOTEL in Egypt

We loved everything! We are frequent travelers around Egypt and we have been to Hurghada more than 20 times and this was our BEST stay. I feel like there are not enough words to describe how super nice this place is. Rooms are big, very clean and updated. Food is very various and everything is delicious. Staff is amazing, everyone is so friendly and so funny , they are doing everything just to make you happy. Service is always so good! ANIMATION TEAM - guys , thank you so much, you are such a great team and you made our vacation unforgettable ️ Charly, Stefan , Lion , Sarah - you are doing an amazing job ! ️ Angelo you are special - the best animator and a wonderful person ️ always smiling, always funny, very kind and very beautiful! We will definitely be back next time!

Great quality/value for solo travellers

Very friendly and helpful staff, ready to help with everything in any time. Tasty food - especially meet. Every day is full of free activities and something new. Heated pool is perfect, very comfortable at winter

Problems with security and transfers - book a car 30 min in advance always. It would be great to add more cosmetic options like shower caps or toothpaste. Food is tasty, but it would be perfect if the fruit selection will be wider. Tours’ prices are twice from the original ones. And if you are going in winter be ready to sleep under two bedsheets

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff.

This is a beautiful, clean, friendly hotel. The staff work incredibly hard to make sure your stay is perfect. They can't do enough. Everywhere is spotless. The facilities are great. Lots to do! Outdoor heated pool, which is great for the kids. The food was very tasty, lots of spice. The entertainment was great. Would definitely go back.

Room service isn't great. On the few occasions, I called and asked for something, it either didn't arrive or I had to ring again to remind them.

Exceptional

This hotel is amazing. We spent 10 days here, but we could spend another 10 easily. Staff is super friendly, animation team works hard so you will never get bored. There is a show every night. Room and the whole hotel area was super clean. Food was exceptional, traditional Egyptian dishes and European taste as well. Every dinner there is a fresh pasta bar and barbecue. In the morning eggs and pancakes are served fresh. We got 1 free dinner at the chosen a la carte restaurant. We have chosen the Asian one, where you can eat and drink as much as you want. I have never eaten that good in my life. In the hotel, between the meals you can eat hamburger and pizza by the pool and on the beach. Beach is 5 min walk in a beautiful patio. There are reefs at the private beach area, where you can snorkel a lot. We could see lion fish and ray.

Very nice stay at this all inclusive child-friendly resort with great food

The food was nice, the staff was exceptionally friendly, spoke German and mostly English, the beach and the availability of sun chairs were always given. Snorkeling was great and the diving spot was in walking distance.

The door keys often didn't work and we had to go back and forth to the reception. Everything else was fabulous.

Wonderful

It's an amazing experience; I am astounded by the cleanliness, friendliness and kindness. The animation team is super, the staff in the restaurants were amazing and professional, Mr Abdalla Elsabaa, and his staff Ms Hadeer, Mohamed etc .....thank you very much guys.

The room needs maintenance in terms of light, bathroom door, toilet. Aqua park is far away from the hotel, so I believe if there is a main restaurant to take the lunch and continue enjoying the aqua park till the end of day especially for the families with small children.

Family stay in Makadi bay

We liked heated swimming pool, snorkeling at the reef near the beach, water park, overall service and staff is very good too. Staff was very kind to organize music birthday congratulation for my husband in the restaurant and the room was decorated with birthday balloons which was a nice surprise, thank you very much!

The food in the main restaurant and also cocktails quality is not consistent - some days very good other days bad. Me and my son had food poisoning on the 3rd day of our stay, I would stay away from fresh salads and pasta sauce and stick to the daily grill/bbq or pizza. The hotel was very quiet generally during the day and in the evenings - was not enough good animation/entertainment, except for New Year’s Day which was good.

Loved every minute

It is a truly remarkable place. The food is amazing, and the beach is magnificent but the surrounding places can more or less offer that. What I loved most was the exceptional staff. They are just WONDERFUL, especially if you have your parents or kids with you. They are extremely helpful. EVERYONE. The person picking up your bags when you first check-in, the receptionists, the person taking care of your room, the restaurant servers, ...etc. This is my second time of taking my mom and kids to this place and they all loved it.

Relaxing, comfortable and brilliant stay

Fantastic staff which were super friendly and helpful. Beach with amenities was just a couple of mins walk away. Food at the rasturant was great, different meals with range of local and international meals. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Plenty of things to do around the resort such as billiards, table tennis, the pool, as well as a shuttle to the (free) water park which was fantastic.

To be honest, wasn't much we didn't like at all

Cleanliness,kindness of staff, variety of food, close to the beach

The last two days where characterized by extensive renovation works. We also had to bend below a yellow tape saying “do not cross” to access the building to our room. One of the two pools was closed overnight, without any notice or apologies from the hotel. I think this behaviour, which somehow ruined our last two days, is not accettable in a hotel of this category.
